ARC Needs You! Are you interested in volunteering for ARC of Bay County? Perhaps you think you don't have the time? Or do you think volunteering only means fostering or working with the animals? There are many ways that you can volunteer. We need people to do everything from as simple as writing a thank you note, to as complex as planning a fundraising event. Whatever your schedule allows, we have something you can help with. And no matter how small you think your contribution is, it is HUGE to us! So how does one go about becoming an ARC volunteer? It is as easy as 1,2,3! Step 1 Sign up for our Yahoo group...you can do so by clicking the button below. Or if you don't have a yahoo account, you can simply send a blank email to arcofbaycounty-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and that will subscribe you to our group. If you do not like a lot of email, please let us know and we can arrange it where you only get one email a day with our digest format. Step 2 You will receive two messages upon applying to the group: an email entitled "Welcome Pending Member" and a Volunteer Form. Reply to the "Welcome Pending Member" email with the requested information and we will approve you as a temporary member to the group as soon as we receive it. Step 3 Download, fill out, sign, and mail the Volunteer Form to us and your temperorary membership will become an official membership. We can not allow you to volunteer for ARC until these documents are all completed for legal reasons. That's it! Follow those three steps, give us some of your time now and then, and you will be helping ARC in a BIG way! Don't have ANY time to be an official volunteer, but still want to help out? You can! Donate money, business services, items, gift certificates, etc... click here. Help us get the word out by telling everyone you know about ARC. Place our promotional materials in your place of business. Be the proud sponsor of an ARC Donation Jar. Offer your business as an ARC drop off point for donated supplies.
